Fits PERFECT!!... My fave song in the whole world and a man of many words!!... one of my heros!!!! And who better to sing than Israel Kamakawiwo Ole's version!! BEAUTIFUL!!!! No other words can explain it!! Watch and listen! :)

My eyes swell with tears watching and thinking about our dear Prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley! He was a man of strength, compassion, and unconditional love for everyone! President Hinckley was a Prophet of which I will always admire and remember!! He was a TRUE example of Christ! My heart sings with happiness knowing that he is with his sweet lil' "love"... "somewhere over the rainbow"! But...'till we meet again....we will miss him dearly!

tHiS iS JuSt THe BeGiNNiNG......

Yep... "This is just the beginning", was right!... That's what Lauren said as we headed on our way to Disneyland with my sister and her fabulous family (The Telfords). How lucky am I to live next door to Disneyland??!! I swear I feel like I'm still 8 years old!! Well... Sidney was tall enough to ride "Screamin'" with us....Yeay! She loved it! We ended up riding it over and over until we were almost sick! And, lil' "Buddy" (Spencer) made the measurements for "The Tower of Terror". Oh, WOW... it was definitely a terror for him!... maybe more like a nightmare!!! He said "No Way!!!" to gettin' on that one again! We sure had a great time together and lucked out with the weather too! How nice that Josh was able to take a break from studying and come with us to enjoy the excitement! Well, after a full day and another day of rest... we'll be back to hit the rides!.... Wha-hooooooo!!!

Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to our dear, sweet & beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley's family! My heart aches to see him go...but, what joy to know he is re-united with his "love" and family on the other side.

Honey and the Moon

Right now, I wish I could follow you... to the shores... of freedom, where no one lives!.....
Ever since I've been with you, you hold me up all the time.... when I'm falling down! You're the Honey and the Moon that lights up my night......
How wonderful to have a husband that holds me up no matter what! I often wonder how I got so lucky to find him!! Life is good! Josh is still pluggin' along! It's so interesting to listen to the details of his days! And...the mouth is so complex! WOW!!!:)
Well, the Manhattan Beach has seen a lot of me! I should be their regular beach tour guide! :) And... although I've been alone, the sunsets have been unbelieveable!! But...I enjoy getting out and exploring for new sites to see!
I'm learning more about photography...the best and worst times of day to take pictures, lighting, distance, etc. My next project is to post some of my fave pics! I'm looking forward to getting a new Cannon Rebel soon!... Yeay!!! That will definitely help with the learning process and of course better pics! :)
Whoops... my Honey and the Moon are sleeping now! :)

Land of a MILLION dreams!....

Of course it's....Disneyland!! There's nothing more exciting and memorable than being at Disneyland with your family, especially young nieces and nephews! Plus, having your brother sitting next to you screaming like a little girl makes the ride "Screamin" that much better!! Mom and Dad are such good sports too!...I see why they crash when we get back to take a nap! California adventure park has some great new rides such as Screamin', Tower of Terror and Soarin'. How amazing is it to be flyin' over California smelling pine from the enormous pine trees along side riverbanks. Or smelling the fresh scent of oranges from the Orange Fields! It's AMAZING! My favorite was on Tower of Terror...Scared out of my pants... I grabbed my nephew, Ryan's arm while dropping 50 feet and got an immediate reaction out of him! .....Don't grab my arm Natalie! :) I laughed so hard I about peed myself!... He commented later saying he wanted me to experience the ride WITHOUT holding on to anything. LOL!! They were so much fun to be with!! I have to say that my Favorite ride is still "Splash Mountain"!! Well, I'll tell you what... It really is a Land of a Million Dreams!!! :)
